OAKS, CA––"PROMISES: A Wedding Collection", a premier
line of innovative and elegant wedding accessories from the Jast Company,
received very favorable response from retailers attending the April Chicago
Bridal Show. Featuring the finest materials and workmanship, together
with unique and sophisticated designs, Promises "promises" to
become a major player in the wedding accessories business.
The Promises brand was created to fill a void in the marketplace for fashionable
wedding accessories oriented to today's bride. Toward that goal, former
Beverly Clark master designer Rachel V. Pasley was contracted to develop
a collection for traditional, contemporary, and younger brides.
"The Promises line covers the full range of today's brides, whereas
the competition does not always understand today's younger bride",
says Rachel Pasley, President of Rachel Pasley Designs. "Our lines
reflect fashion, color, and 'entertainment fashion' happening in the marketplace
today."
The Promises line currently consists of eight different boutiques. "Grace"
was inspired by the 1940's and Princess Grace, and utilizes the latest
in bridal fabrics – beautiful "crashed" chiffon. As on all Promises
pillows, the Grace pillow includes the copyrighted "Promises Pocket",
a special pocket on the pillow back, which can hold the couple's vows
or other cherished item for the ceremony or a keepsake. "Sheer Delight"
is the most elegant and detailed Promises grouping, featuring a pleat
motif and satin covered buttons. "Crystal Rose" is a fun and whimsical
boutique, utilizing gathered tulle with a beaded chiffon rose accent.
"Serenity" is a highly contemporary look for the bolder bride, featuring
unique squared corners on the pillow and enhanced by cubist beading throughout.
The "Julia" line features ribbons, ribbons, and more ribbons! Each of
these boutique designs is available in white or ivory.
"Catherine" is a very sophisticated and elegant grouping, utilizing
the contemporary squared corner pillow design and featuring hand beading
throughout. Available in white. "Sparkle" is designed for the
younger bride, featuring glitter detail on white satin. The most elegant
and detailed boutique, "Victoria", is created with a hand-beaded
silk handkerchief draped softly over satin. Available in candlelight.
